About this assembly
A fictional interministerial commission reviewing the quality of regulatory impact assessments. This is a FICTIONAL text for the purposes of the PoC.
The RIA Commission is a fictional advisory body reviewing the quality of impact statements and issuing opinions on draft legislation before it is submitted for public consultation.
Note: this is a FICTIONAL text for the purposes of the Decidim PoC.
Purpose of action
To raise the quality of regulatory impact assessment and to ensure that every draft regulation carries an impact statement before public consultation.
Composition
The commission has seven members. It is chaired by a representative of the ministry responsible for the business environment; the remaining members represent the ministry of finance, the ministry of the environment, two business associations and two academic institutions.
The composition is FICTIONAL and serves the PoC only.
